Overview

Lead and drive cross-functional transformation initiatives across Private Bank & Wealth Management, ensuring disciplined execution, client-centric outcomes and measurable business value.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate portfolio governance, ensuring projects align with the organisation's strategic objectives and controls and governance standards, and that thematic risks and issues are managed effectively.
  • Manage the portfolio Book of Work outlining the sequence and dependencies of change initiatives, considering resource availability, stakeholder buy-in and potential risks.
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure change initiatives are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
  • Continuously improve portfolio management practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management, project teams and external partners to align portfolio management practices with their needs and expectations.
  • Develop portfolio management processes aligned with controls and governance standards that support the delivery of successful projects.
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.

What you'll need

  • Proven track record in leading and delivering technology-intensive transformation initiatives and business process design and analysis, preferably within the BFSI domain.
  • Strong project and programme management experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Experience working with senior management and global stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive outcomes without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks within financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve risks, issues, dependencies and escalations while maintaining delivery timelines and quality.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and clear management briefings.
  • Graduate in any discipline.

  • Strong interest in financial markets and the ability to understand and communicate complex business and technical concepts.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
