Wireless Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Onsite Wireless Technical Support Engineer role focused on networking and Wi‑Fi support.

What you'll do

• Triage and resolve customer support escalations from multiple inbound channels.
• Meet or exceed response quality, timeliness, and overall customer experience targets.
• Build and maintain layer 2/3 network testbeds.
• Understand features and reproduce customer-reported issues.
• File tickets on bugs found, analyze logs, and identify root causes.
• Work with developers and provide status reports in relevant meetings.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (networking focus preferred).
• Typically 2–4 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
• Knowledge of 802.11 Wi‑Fi standards.
• Experience using and evaluating engineering design tools and software packages.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and local language) with ability to communicate architectures and negotiate options.
