Accountant

Overview

Support the Accounting Manager or Accounting Cycle Analyst with Group and local accounting activities, with focus on Fixed Assets and Project Accounting.

What you'll do

• Handle the layout, entry, verification, control, quality and consistency of accounting transactions and accounts within the assigned remit.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with Group referentials and relevant country legislation.
• Ensure accounting information is available within prescribed deadlines for preparation of financial statements.

What you'll need

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong fundamental accounting knowledge.
• Clear understanding of fixed asset accounting concepts, including capitalization, depreciation, asset additions, transfers and disposals.
• Understanding of the related debit and credit accounting entries.
• Strong analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in project accounting.
• Experience in month-end close activities.
• Experience in reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

• Location: Pune.
• Working hours: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST shift.
