Accounting Manager

Overview

Accounting Manager for a remote India-based role overseeing end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting for a warehousing real estate platform.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger accounting.
• Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements.
• Conduct bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis.
• Oversee AP/AR processes, vendor payments, tenant billing, and collections.
• Implement scalable accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience managing AP/AR, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Real estate or property management experience strongly preferred.
