Overview
Lead II, Software Engineer (individual contributor) responsible for leading software projects and GenAI initiatives, while primarily driving security remediation across multiple scanning and code security tools.
What you'll do
- Lead software-related projects from design through delivery, including GenAI initiatives.
- Continuously triage, prioritize, and drive vulnerabilities to closure within SLA across Wiz, SVA/DVA, Dependabot, GHAS, and CodeQL.
- Remediate exposed secrets by identifying credentials, rotating/revoking compromised material, and hardening pipelines.
- Develop solutions for complex internal and/or external business challenges and recommend improvements to products, processes, or services.
- Develop and monitor complex project plans and budgets.
- Track and report security remediation metrics (open findings, aging, SLA compliance) and champion secure-by-design practices.
What you'll need
- 10 years of related software engineering experience.
- Mastery of one or more high-level programming languages plus relevant technologies and design techniques.
- Working knowledge of the GenAI or agentic technology stack (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks/tools).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Substantial hands-on experience with security remediation, including vulnerability scanning/management (Wiz, SVA/DVA), dependency/code scanning (Dependabot, GHAS, CodeQL), and secret detection/remediation aligned to Concord security standards.
- Proven ability to drive high volumes of security findings to closure on schedule and prioritize remediation alongside feature delivery.
Nice to have
- Prior Team Lead experience.
- Hands-on GenAI experience with agent-based architectures/frameworks (e.g., Langchain, LlamaIndex).
- Experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Experience owning a security remediation backlog end-to-end using tools like Wiz, GHAS, and CodeQL.
