Overview
Open Source COE Security Architect for HPE, designed as an onsite role primarily based at an HPE partner/customer office.
What you'll do
- Provide security vision and strategy by developing and implementing information security programs and projects to address relevant risks.
- Advise leadership on the evolving open source security technology landscape and related product issues, mitigations, and improvements.
- Create executive roadmaps for continual improvement across security and DevSecOps teams using open source tools/frameworks.
- Conduct information security risk management, gap analysis, and audits.
- Formulate cyber security policies and design and implement security technologies and DevSecOps using open source approaches.
- Design and implement open source cyber security solutions in OpenStack environments, including upgrading, troubleshooting, and tuning.
- Set up proofs of concept (PoCs) for emerging open source security solutions and address cyber-attack resilience via attack simulations.
What you'll need
- BE/B.Tech with 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- 6+ years of experience in Information Security/Cyber Security.
- Expert-level knowledge of latest security technologies, architectures, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Desired certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, or ISO 27001.
- Strong knowledge of security assessment frameworks like NIST, MITRE, and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA).
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud security systems and work with DevSecOps teams in CI/CD environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Linux (including kernel, threads, processes, and APIs) and scripting/programming experience in C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Bash, and PowerShell (desired).
