Overview
Develop and support international healthcare software solutions, primarily clinical coding capabilities for 360 Encompass. The role also supports clinician-facing products, custom development, and advanced technical integrations.
What you'll do
- Develop clinical coding software solutions and related healthcare capabilities.
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain production software.
- Lead selected design discussions, code reviews, technical analyses, and implementation planning.
- Automate component and unit tests and improve software performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, clinical, implementation, quality, and support stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve escalated application, interface, API, data exchange, and platform issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of software development experience, or high school diploma/GED and six years of software development experience.
- Five years of experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Five years of programming in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Three years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2.x, FHIR, APIs, or data exchange workflows.
- Three years of experience developing, testing, and maintaining commercial, enterprise, healthcare, or customer-facing software.
- Ability to work independently within a defined technical scope.
Nice to have
- Full-stack web application development experience, including backend services and front-end interfaces.
- Experience with SQL, Visual Studio, Git, Microsoft TFS, or Windows internals and APIs.
- Experience with hospital medical record systems or clinical coding, billing, or reimbursement workflows.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
Details
- Remote in Canada.
- Travel may include up to 5% domestic travel.
- Expected base salary: CAD 85,739–106,399 yearly.
