Overview
Develop, integrate, and debug AUTOSAR software for automotive ECUs across MCAL, BSW ComStack, RTE, and OS. Support platform stability, feature delivery, and compliance with automotive standards including ASPICE and ISO 26262.
What you'll do
- Configure, integrate, and validate MCAL drivers including ADC, PWM, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, GPT, and DIO.
- Implement and debug BSW ComStack modules including CanIF, CanSM, CanTp, PduR, Com, Dcm, and Nm.
- Configure RTE and AUTOSAR OS (OSEK/AUTOSAR OS), defining tasks, ISRs, alarms, and resources.
- Bring up AUTOSAR stacks using Vector, Elektrobit, or ETAS, integrate software components, and resolve integration issues.
- Analyze bus traces, stack traces, OS runnables, memory issues, and timing issues; root-cause and fix defects.
- Configure DCM and DEM and support UDS services and diagnostics.
- Manage AUTOSAR configuration using DaVinci Configurator/Developer and EB tresos.
- Develop unit and integration tests; execute HiL and SiL tests; support automated build and test pipelines.
- Adhere to ASPICE Level 2+ processes, MISRA-C, and ISO 26262 safety work products.
- Prepare release notes, design documents, and configuration baselines; support audits.
What you'll need
- 6Yrs to 8Yrs hands-on experience in embedded software development using C for 16/32-bit micros, including S32, Aurix, Renesas, and Cypress.
- Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR methodologies, including MCAL, BSW, and RTE, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience in device driver development.
- Hands-on experience with cross compilers, debuggers, and emulators.
- Hands-on experience in Power Mode, UDS, diagnostics, bootloader, and communication protocols including CAN/LIN, and tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe.
- Experience with verification tools, including static analysis tools and unit testing tools, and test execution.
- Good software debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience handling measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, current probes, and signal generators.
- Exposure to automotive standard processes, including ASPICE.
- Functional safety ISO 26262 overview.
