AES Guidewire Digital Portal Associate Developer - Operate

Overview

Help build, customize and support Guidewire digital portal solutions that improve policy, claims and billing experiences for insurance clients, within the Advisory practice at PwC Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Develop and customize Guidewire digital portal features for insurance clients
• Code, configure and test application changes across Guidewire platform components
• Support production issue triage, defect resolution and enhancement requests for deployed solutions
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions
• Integrate Guidewire with external systems and data sources using established development methods
• Collaborate with senior developers and client teams to troubleshoot system behavior and support delivery tasks
• Document technical designs, code changes and testing results to support maintenance and future updates
• Apply software development standards, version control practices and release procedures throughout the development lifecycle

What you'll need

• Good experience in Guidewire Digital Portals and working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, BillingCenter and ContactManager integrations
• JDP (Jutro Development Platform), React JavaScript framework, TypeScript
• JEST (testing framework) and IDE familiarity for using Guidewire Digital solutions
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2-4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Extensive Application Managed Service projects and solutioning across the Guidewire suite on premises and SaaS, with proven on-time, on-budget delivery of complex engagements
• Experience providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Senior Guidewire Developer, acting as a trusted advisor to the client
• Ability to deliver Guidewire solutions across business processes and enterprise solution perspectives, with a holistic view
• Ability to develop scalable and robust Guidewire solution strategies in a hybrid IT landscape (on premises and Cloud)
• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
• At least one of: Guidewire or Scrum Master certification
• Demonstrated Guidewire portal development or support
• Applying software development methods in client-facing settings
• Gathering information, analyzing patterns and asking questions
• Adapting to changing priorities and team needs
• Developing commercial awareness in insurance technology
• Learning technical standards, feedback and independent work habits
