About the Job
The AI Automation & Lead Generation Intern (Internship, Remote) will help design and improve automated workflows that turn raw web data into clean, actionable leads. You’ll work closely with the team to support data pipelines, integrate AI-powered tools, and build reliable systems that streamline prospecting across multiple sources. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting with automation, working with data, and applying modern AI techniques to real-world growth tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support web scraping efforts by collecting structured lead data from online sources using compliant methods.
- Perform data cleaning and data manipulation to ensure lead records are accurate, deduplicated, and ready for downstream use.
- Assist with data science & analytics tasks, including basic exploratory analysis to improve lead quality and targeting.
- Build and maintain automation workflows using APIs and webhooks, coordinating data flow between systems.
- Work with JSON data formats to parse, transform, and validate payloads across integrations.
- Explore AI tools to enhance lead qualification, enrichment, and summarization workflows.
- Contribute to LLM models and applications by testing prompt strategies, evaluating outputs, and improving model-assisted processes.
- Support “wire system” development by documenting requirements and helping translate business needs into functional automation logic.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with data cleaning and data manipulation (spreadsheets, SQL, or Python-based pipelines).
- Comfort working with web scraping concepts and structured extraction of web data.
- Basic working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and sending/receiving data reliably.
- Ability to read and manipulate JSON payloads and handle validation/error cases.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a strong interest in LLM models and applications (testing, prompting, evaluation).
- Understanding of workflow and system design concepts, including wire systems / mapping requirements to automation steps.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to iterate quickly in a remote environment.
