Overview
AI Automation Engineer in the Business Process Automation team within Service Excellence, working on AI solutions for Common Shared Services functions.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI/agentic solutions to automate complex business tasks across Common Shared Services processes.
- Develop LLM and multimodal applications using RAG, tool calling, structured outputs, and context engineering.
- Build, orchestrate, and govern AI agents using agent frameworks and protocols.
- Develop APIs, integrations, and event-driven pipelines embedding AI into enterprise platforms.
- Optimize models using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, distillation, and quantization for accuracy, performance, scalability, and cost.
- Establish AI evaluation and observability practices including automated evaluations and quality monitoring.
- Apply Responsible AI and security-by-design controls including content safety and prompt injection protection.
What you'll need
- 5-10 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, or related technical disciplines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated production experience with AI/Generative AI solutions or applied research and evaluation of emerging AI tech.
- Strong Python skills, including testing, packaging, asynchronous programming, and software engineering best practices.
- SQL experience required; Java or C#/.NET is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with LLM and agent frameworks including LangGraph and related tools.
- Strong knowledge of RAG and enterprise search architectures, including embeddings and vector databases.
