AI Engineer

Overview

Contribute to the design and delivery of AI/ML solutions in Seco's AI Center for Enablement and Automation, working with senior engineers and stakeholders to adopt AI in a scalable, ethical and effective way.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions that drive business value.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand use cases and support solution design.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready AI applications, with guidance from senior team members.
• Support the evolution of the AI platform, tools and reusable assets to enable consistent delivery.
• Apply software engineering best practices such as version control, testing, code quality and modular design.
• Work with DevOps/MLOps teams to build reliable and maintainable AI pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to AI governance, data privacy and ethical AI standards.
• Take part in knowledge sharing and internal capability building around AI/ML.
• Stay informed about AI innovation, tools and methods relevant to the practice.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience designing and delivering AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of ML and AI techniques, including supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, deep learning and GenAI.
• Proficient in Python and experienced with major ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, testing and version control.
• Familiar with DevOps and MLOps principles for AI system development.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice to have

• Experience with Lakehouse architectures, preferably Databricks.

• Works alongside colleagues in Sweden and India.
