Overview

Trainee/internship role in Valeo's Mechanical Development organization, supporting senior engineers on engineering projects and foundational R&D work.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate awareness of project budgets and optimize resource utilization within your scope of work.
• Assist senior engineers in executing engineering projects, focusing on tasks related to Newness level 1 (fully applied, standard design, and design based on existing rules).
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and other relevant documents.
• Collect, analyze, and report on technical data, contributing to informed decision-making within the team.
• Apply the established discipline design processes and methodologies.
• Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop technical skills within the discipline, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• Adhere to the discipline's Digitalization Roadmap, using designated tools and processes to ensure efficiency.
• Contribute to identifying potential improvements to existing processes and methodologies based on your experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
