Overview
AI/ML Engineer designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to address business problems and improve product/system performance.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
- Research, experiment, and select suitable models and techniques for business problems.
- Prepare and pre-process large datasets (cleaning, normalization, feature extraction, transformation).
- Train models by selecting and optimizing hyperparameters, performing cross-validation, and evaluating metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on model solutions.
- Document procedures for installation and maintenance; complete programming with testing and debugging while monitoring performance metrics.
What you’ll need
- Typically 2-4 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java.
- Knowledge of relevant ML libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras (highly beneficial).
- Experience with data cleaning, pre-processing, and feature engineering.
- Ability to design and develop models using algorithms including linear regression, decision trees, random forests, support vector machines, or deep learning models.
- Familiarity with model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and cross-validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or closely related quantitative discipline.
Details
- Hybrid role with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
