AI/ML Engineer II

Overview

As an AI/ML Engineer II, you embed with customers to build and deploy custom integrations and workflows on top of the platform, bridging customer needs to the core engineering team.

What you'll do

• Embed with customers (onsite or remote) to understand their technical stack and business workflows.
• Design, build, and deploy custom solutions, integrations, and workflows.
• Write production-quality code for APIs, data pipelines, scripts, and internal tools.
• Translate customer field learnings into product requirements and roadmap input.
• Prototype solutions during discovery and harden them into scalable, maintainable systems.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues across customer infrastructure and the platform.
• Partner with sales and customer success on pre-sales technical evaluations, POCs, and pilots.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong coding ability in at least one modern language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, etc.).
• Comfort working across the stack.
• Experience with databases, APIs, and data integration/ETL patterns.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with limited specs.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Customer-facing experience or strong desire to work directly with customers.
• Willingness to travel (typically 20–50%, varies by team and customer base).
