Application Engineer

Overview

Application Engineer (Outcome Architect) to architect, prototype, and deploy internal tools and environments for Global Sales Engineering teams demonstrating the CyberArk Identity Security platform.

What you'll do

• Design modular, scalable internal products, POC toolkits, and field utilities.
• Use AI agents and LLMs to move from concept to field-ready tools.
• Build and maintain global field operations tools, APIs, and interfaces.
• Architect automated “lab-on-demand” solutions for Identity Security scenarios (PAM, Secrets Management).
• Translate vague field requirements into functional technical assets for Sales Engineering.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, system design, data flow, and building resilient, secure systems.
• Expertise using AI interfaces (Cursor, Copilot, LLMs) to write, debug, and refactor.
• Ability to pick up or generate code (Python, JS, C#) to meet architectural goals.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying within AWS or Azure ecosystems.
• Skills in automating infrastructure and workflows to create seamless internal experiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in Sales Engineering, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure/Tools roles.
• Knowledge of Identity Security, Zero Trust, or Secrets Management.
• Curiosity about autonomous AI development agents.
