Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Overview

Configure and support packaged or Software as a Service applications, adapt features to business requirements, manage releases, and maintain system stability, compatibility, and performance.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
• Participate actively and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system updates.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
• Configure and support packaged or Software as a Service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements.
• Manage software releases to maintain system stability and performance.
• Use standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to align solutions with organizational needs while preserving compatibility across systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application functionality in collaboration with various teams.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP EWM.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience working with APIs and low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to packaged and Software as a Service applications.
• Familiarity with software release management and version control practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP TM Transportation Management.
