Application Engineer - II

Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies and frameworks. The role involves frontend and backend development, API integration, cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, and collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop scalable frontend applications with responsive user interfaces.
• Build robust backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Design and implement database schemas, queries, and performance optimizations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support deployment automation.
• Develop automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Monitor application performance and support observability initiatives.
• Apply secure coding practices and adhere to enterprise security standards.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications.
• Frontend development experience with Angular or React.
• Backend development experience with Java and/or Node.js.
• Experience with API design and integration.
• Knowledge of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS Services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure fundamentals.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of data modeling.
• Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Requirement analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Angular experience as the preferred/current stack.
• Docker/Kubernetes experience.
• GraphQL experience.
• Front-end observability experience.
• Experience with personalization engines.
• Experience with design token automation.
• Experience with agentic AI patterns, including the ability to work in platform teams supporting multiple journeys and AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor.
• Experience with analytics-driven experimentation.
• A/B testing experience.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong AI engineering exposure.
