Airflow Python Developer

Overview

Airflow Python Developer role focused on building and orchestrating scalable ETL/ELT data workflows using Python, Apache Airflow, and cloud data platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Python-based data pipelines.
• Build Airflow DAGs and manage orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Create automated data ingestion, transformation, and scheduling workflows.
• Work on Snowflake-based ELT solutions including data loads, stored procedures, and queries.
• Write and optimize efficient SQL for data transformations.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures to ensure production workflow availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in Python development.
• 1+ years of experience with Apache Airflow (DAG design, orchestration, scheduling).
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, and Athena (or equivalent cloud tech).
• Strong hands-on experience with advanced SQL querying and optimization.
• Experience with ETL/ELT workflows including data validation and data quality checks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have

• Good to have Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Familiarity with Git / CI-CD and JIRA or similar tools.
