Overview
Product Development Analyst role in Institutional Credit Management (ICM), focused on Business Analytics, working with front office and technology on tactical analytics and business requirements.
What you'll do
- Identify improvement areas by listening to front office users and management teams.
- Prototype solutions and develop business requirements.
- Create prototypes for analytical tools to be productionized by ICM technology.
- Partner with teams like finance, risk, middle office, and compliance to improve workflows, feeds, and reporting.
- Collaborate with technology counterparts to define requirements and ensure governance over development, testing, and releases.
- Provide user training, solicit feedback, and drive systems adoption.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide reporting as needed.
What you'll need
- 3-6 years of experience with tools for large data sets and data solutioning with an AI-first approach.
- Proficient in programming languages/frameworks including Python, Apache Airflow, and Streamlit and/or Flask, and Starburst.
- Ability to use code versioning tools like GitHub and Bitbucket.
- Ability to create business analysis, troubleshoot data quality issues, and do exploratory and descriptive analysis.
- Ability to structure and break down problems, develop solutions, and drive results.
- Project management skills with experience leading large technological initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables).
