What you'll do
- Serve as a statistical subject matter expert across hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power analysis, ANOVA, and regression modeling.
- Design and interpret regression models including linear, logistic, mixed-effects, Poisson, and regularised approaches.
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive machine learning models (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest, SVM, neural networks, ensembles).
- Build survival and time-to-event models and develop forecasting and scenario modeling solutions.
- Optimize Marketing Mix Models and build next-best-action recommendation engines.
- Ensure analytics follow HIPAA and governance standards using de-identified patient-level data and explainability/fairness monitoring.
- Partner with multiple commercial and healthcare teams and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 4–8+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, or commercial analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, survival analysis, Bayesian inference, and significance testing.
- Hands-on predictive modeling experience using XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest, SVM, neural networks, ensemble methods, and time-series forecasting.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, plus experience with explainability libraries.
- Experience with Snowflake (incl. Snowpark), Spark/PySpark, MLflow, and cloud-based data platforms.
