Analyst - Data Scientist

Overview

Individual contributor Data Scientist/Analyst role focused on commercial analytics using statistical modeling and AI/ML to solve business challenges.

What you'll do

• Apply statistical methodologies such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power analysis, ANOVA, and significance testing.
• Design and interpret regression models including linear, logistic, mixed-effects, Poisson, and regularised approaches.
• Develop, validate, and deploy predictive machine learning models (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest, SVM, neural networks, ensembles).
• Build survival/time-to-event models and forecasting solutions for demand and revenue projections.
• Create marketing mix models and next-best-action recommendation engines for commercial effectiveness and engagement.
• Ensure analytics comply with HIPAA and organisational governance, using de-identified patient-level data only.

What you'll need

• Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 4–8+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, or commercial analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, survival analysis, Bayesian inference, and power/significance testing.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, including machine learning and explainability libraries.
• Experience with Snowflake/Snowpark, Spark/PySpark, and MLflow; familiarity with scalable cloud data platforms.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements and explainable AI/model monitoring and governance practices.

Details

• Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.
• Shift: 2 pm to 11 pm IST.
• Role: In-person working with an average minimum of three days per week from the office.
