Overview

Analyst, Financial Modeling at AlphaSense India, supporting customers by building and validating financial models using Excel add-ins.

What you'll do

• Build custom financial models for customers globally.
• Ensure model accuracy, including error-free outputs and correct formulas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to maximize value from product offerings.
• Maintain documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and formulas used in models.
• Perform testing to validate model outputs and formula integrity.
• Modify models to reflect changing business, regulatory, or new data circumstances.

What you'll need

• Post graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.
• Professional qualification including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or FRM.
• 1-3 years of client-facing experience.
• Expertise building financial models in Excel and interpreting financial data.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts and financial analysis terminology (e.g., DCF and financial statements).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
