Analyst - Intercompany

Overview

Analyst role in the Intercompany team at Flex, located in Chennai, supporting invoice processing, reporting and month-end activities.

What you'll do

• Support invoice processing (trade and non-trade) activity as per standard operating procedures and meet targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices as per standard operating procedures.
• Validate and execute payment to internal suppliers and close invoices with collection funds and disputes management.
• Generate and update Interco AP and AR aging, past dues analysis and other MIS reporting as per the process.
• Suggest and track passing rectification entries for errors identified by the internal QC team.
• Reconcile AR and AP sub-ledger versus trial balance.
• Perform Interco month-end activity, including reconciliation package and posting accruals entries as per standard operating procedures.
• Support balance sheet reconciliation and post month-end activity by providing necessary attachments or approval from site finance.
• Support audit and compliance as per standard operating procedures.
• Maintain daily productivity log.

What you'll need

• B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com or MBA (Finance).
• Good understanding of MS applications.
• 0-1 year of experience in accounting or AP domain.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
• Willingness to work in a complex environment with strict project deadlines.
