Analyst Pricing Credit

Overview

Research and analyze customer pricing credit requests to ensure system alignment and that credits pass through to the customer without negative financial impact, and develop recommendations to solve business operations problems.

What you'll do

• Analyze customer pricing credit requests for validity, considering contract eligibility, markup structure, vendor hierarchy requirements, and unit of measure challenges.
• Validate that necessary rebates have been or can be secured given varying vendor timeline restrictions and process requirements.
• Establish relationships with the vendor community to obtain necessary eligibility and pricing information.
• Work with vendors to research and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and ensure data accuracy, and communicate to appropriate personnel if data inaccuracies exist.
• Contribute to improving team processes to create efficiencies, and update or create department Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide insights into trends or unusual performance.
• Serve as the first point of contact for A/R, PVAs and sales reps.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer pricing, contracts and/or rebates.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions and drive improvement and solutions.
• Experience processing details, understanding and prioritizing their importance, and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing, tracking details and meeting deadlines.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to meet department goals within established timelines.
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).

Nice to have

• Experience in SAP and/or Vistex.
