Analyst, Security Operations - USA Remote

Overview

Analyst, Security Operations responsible for Tier 2 review, response, and investigation of security events across a complex organization. The role escalates issues from Tier 1, supports incident response, and helps improve security operations.

What you'll do

• Respond to and investigate phishing, malware, brand monitoring, and other security events.
• Mentor junior analysts and support new team member onboarding.
• Document and develop procedures for security escalations and investigations.
• Support incident response containment and eradication activities.
• Lead remediation activities after containment.
• Build relationships with Security and IT teams and represent their interests.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment.
• Experience responding to security alerts and phishing reports.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, SOAR, or similar security tools.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in large, global, complex environments.
• Experience with an SOC or MSSP implementing and enhancing threat detection and response capabilities.

Details

• Remote role in the USA.
• Annual salary range: $125,000–$145,000, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay.
