Overview
Android Multi-Device Experience Engineer overseeing design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable software systems.
What you'll do
- Oversee installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Monitor and test application performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with developers to implement fixes.
- Optimize software systems for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency to improve user experience.
- Gather infrastructure component system engineering requirements with engineering groups and stakeholders.
- Lead multiple project teams across design and development stages for complex products and platforms.
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with guidelines and standards.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff.
What you'll need
- Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or commensurate work experience.
- Typically 7-10 years of work experience in systems engineering, programming languages, or related field.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Exposure to tooling/tech including Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and automation.
- Skills such as debugging and implementing API-based integrations.
- Programming background with C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
