Senior Pre-Sales Engineer (Singapore)

Overview

Senior Pre-Sales Engineer (based in Singapore) supporting complex technical evaluations and solution design across APAC.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery for strategic opportunities.
• Map business goals to measurable technical success criteria and an evaluation plan.
• Design, scope, and execute POCs with defined datasets, metrics, and timelines.
• Build lightweight prototypes, sample integrations, and demos using Deepgram SDKs and APIs.
• Advise on architectures covering accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
• Run security and compliance threads and prepare responses for APAC privacy laws.
• Triage and debug issues during evaluations, coordinating with Product, Engineering, and Support.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering or a similar customer-facing pre-sales technical role.
• Professional software engineering experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms and secure API design (Docker, Kubernetes, networking).
• Proven experience leading POCs for enterprise customers.
• Clear written and verbal communication for both technical and executive audiences.

Details

• Based in Singapore and will service the APAC region.
• Estimated travel of 10 to 20 percent within the region.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional Asian languages are a strong plus.
• Remote across APAC with periodic regional meetups.
