AO/European Loan Portfolio Analyst

Overview

Support the London ABF Analytics team across the deal investment lifecycle (underwriting, acquisition, asset management and disposals) by critically analysing externally sourced data, automating standard reporting and running ad-hoc analysis. The role is located in Pune, India, and reports to the Managing Director, Analytics, in London.

What you'll do

• Manage datasets comprising customer data, transactional data etc. from multiple sources and integrate them into a data warehouse.
• Perform dataset stratification analysis and support development of pricing models.
• Work with senior analysts and the broader deal team to provide data solutions as required.
• Support the London team in running analytics on existing and new ABF transactions.
• Work with partners (banks, rating agencies, auditors etc) to ensure timely delivery of data to required standards.
• Contribute to special projects as directed by management.

What you'll need

• A minimum of 12 months SAS programming experience, or equivalent data analysis software package.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to audit own work.
• Highly analytical and creative mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Strong critical reasoning skills.
• Strong spoken communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least a 2:1 undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, etc.).
• Experience in the financial services sector.
