APAC Project Planner

Overview

Project Planner in the APAC region at GE Vernova, responsible for turning project scope into structured schedules for engineering, procurement and construction teams and keeping complex, multi-phase projects on track.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with scope, milestones and contractual requirements, including baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), activity sequencing and resource-loaded plans.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules, identify critical path impacts and schedule slippages, and recommend corrective and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, site execution and commissioning teams to gather progress updates and maintain accurate, current schedules.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, catch-up plans and recovery schedules; support project management in forecasting completion timelines and surfacing planning-related risks.
• Generate periodic progress reports, dashboards, S-curves and milestone tracking reports to support project review meetings and decision-making.
• Maintain planning records, schedule revisions and project control documentation in compliance with company procedures.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Engineering (EEE/Mech) from an accredited College or University.
• 10+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring within industrial, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), energy or infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, interpret and analyze project schedules, critical paths and progress trends.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience producing S-curves, dashboards and milestone reports.

Nice to have

• Prior experience on large-scale EPC or energy sector projects across the full engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent project schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
