Application Security Engineer

Overview

BitGo is hiring an Application Security Engineer to mature the company’s application security practices and help prevent or detect vulnerabilities early.

What you'll do

• Develop automated security testing to validate secure coding best practices.
• Create and deliver secure development training.
• Conduct application security reviews and threat modeling, including secure code review and dynamic testing.
• Manage application security vulnerabilities and support the bug bounty program.
• Prepare and facilitate secure releases for engineering teams.
• Consult on application security best practices and drive security projects from ideation to implementation.
• Use NIST CSF to mature the security program and assist with relevant incident response activities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience with application security.
• 1-2 years of experience in software development and mobile security.
• Familiarity with common security libraries, controls, and common security flaws.
• Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.
• Basic understanding of network/web related protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS).
• Experience with the vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Familiarity with cloud security controls and best practices.

• Work: onsite Monday to Friday at the Bangalore office.
