Application Support Engineer

Overview

Serve as an Application Support Engineer and software detective, identifying and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business systems. Monitor applications, collaborate with teams and stakeholders, and deliver timely solutions to maintain system stability and reliability.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system performance.
• Investigate and resolve issues across various components of essential business systems.
• Monitor systems to identify anomalies.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Narrative Reporting.
• Proficiency in Oracle Narrative Reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Experience managing and supporting enterprise-level reporting tools and applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with software lifecycle management and incident resolution methodologies.
• 15 years full time education.
