Application Support Engineer

Overview

Application Support Engineer role acting as a software detective to identify and solve issues across multiple components of critical business systems.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Assist in implementing system updates and enhancements to improve overall functionality.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming language.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting software applications to identify root causes of issues.
• Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to detect anomalies and optimize processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to resolving technical challenges.
• Familiarity with integrating VBA solutions within larger business systems and workflows.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming language.
• 15 years full-time education is required.
