Applications Analyst 1

Overview

Applications Analyst 1 responsible for designing, developing, modifying, debugging, and evaluating programs and supporting system implementation activities.

What you'll do

• Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems.
• Devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, and perform coding and testing/debugging.
• Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
• Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
• Train users in conversion and system implementation.
• Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Test case design techniques and functional/regression/smoke/sanity testing.
• Automation testing knowledge using UFT/QTP and VB scripting.
• Ability to log, track, and verify defects using HP ALM/Quality Center (HPQC).
• Familiarity with data-driven/keyword-driven framework concepts and object repository concepts.
• Educational qualification in BE/BTech/MCA/BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT/Electronics/related).
• Basic Excel and basic SQL query/database testing knowledge.

Nice to have

• Basic API testing knowledge (Postman).
• Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge.
