Functional Quality Engineer

Overview

Functional Quality Engineer responsible for creating and executing product test plans to ensure software meets design specifications and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Create and execute product test plans for quality and specification adherence.
• Read and understand requirement and solution documents.
• Prepare and review test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute tests, report defects, analyze and track defects to closure.
• Simulate and triage customer-raised issues.
• Answer functional queries from stakeholders.
• Assist development team with process improvements to improve product quality.

What you'll need

• Experience: 3+ years, with at least 2 years in BFS/GPP Payments domain.
• Must have experience testing banking domain software applications/packages.
• Good SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of testing processes and activities.
• Knowledge of banking domain.
• Basic Unix knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• GPP testing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of JIRA.
• Familiarity with deployment of web applications.
• Experience in web service testing using Soap UI tool.
• Experience working on automation tools.
