Overview
Associate Quality Engineer to design end-to-end test solutions for automation testing projects in the Digital and Technology team at General Mills India Centre.
What you'll do
- Own QA deliverables including test strategy, plans, test cases, and signoffs aligned to governance standards.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, UI, and API testing.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines using specified tools.
- Run end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and performance testing while managing test environments and configurations.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve defects and improve test coverage.
- Create test documentation from requirements and track issues with JIRA and ADO.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, stakeholders, and offshore teams to communicate quality metrics and improve processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and QA.
- Strong understanding of OOPS with hands-on programming experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- End-to-end test automation experience using Playwright with TypeScript and scalable framework experience with Selenium, TestNG, and Appium.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Experience in UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing including SQL for backend validation and data verification.
- Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation from business/technical requirements and working in Agile teams with JIRA and ADO.
Nice to have
- Automation testing or ISTQB certification (or other relevant certifications).
- Experience in Microservices and API Integration testing.
- Knowledge of technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Big Data, AI/ML, Data Warehouse, ETL, and CI/CD DevOps.
- Familiarity with Agile Testing methodologies, test planning, and test management.
- Experience with performance testing and data testing tools.
