D&T Quality Engineer I

Overview

Digital & Technology Quality Engineer focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of data solutions for business insights.

What you'll do

• Perform data testing and business intelligence testing for data solutions.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test data; document testing results and evidence.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate, reconcile, and compare data across systems.
• Conduct data validation and root-cause analysis to investigate and resolve data quality issues.
• Manage defects and collaborate with developers and business analysts to enable testing.
• Ensure required sign-offs and adherence to established quality processes.
• Generate testing metrics and productivity reports on time.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data testing or software quality assurance.
• Full-time graduation in computer science or a related field from an accredited university.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, database testing, and business intelligence testing.
• Experience creating test cases and documentation from requirements/specifications.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
