Digital & Technology Quality Engineer focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of data solutions for business insights.
What you'll do
- Perform data testing and business intelligence testing for data solutions.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test data; document testing results and evidence.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate, reconcile, and compare data across systems.
- Conduct data validation and root-cause analysis to investigate and resolve data quality issues.
- Manage defects and collaborate with developers and business analysts to enable testing.
- Ensure required sign-offs and adherence to established quality processes.
- Generate testing metrics and productivity reports on time.
What you'll need
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data testing or software quality assurance.
- Full-time graduation in computer science or a related field from an accredited university.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, database testing, and business intelligence testing.
- Experience creating test cases and documentation from requirements/specifications.
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
