Applications Engineer 2

Overview

Twilio is hiring an Applications Engineer 2 (Salesforce Developer) for the GTM Automation team to evolve Salesforce systems and build custom functionality for sales operations.

What you'll do

• Work with the GTM Automation team on evolving a scalable, reportable Salesforce data model for end users.
• Build custom Salesforce functionality using SOQL APIs, Apex (controllers, Web Services, callouts), and related tools.
• Participate in technical analysis and document requirements for application integrations.
• Collaborate on integration design with architects and other stakeholders.
• Review and assure code quality entering the codebase.
• Refactor the existing codebase to increase extensibility.
• Adapt by learning new technologies based on project requirements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, and JavaScript with Agile development practices.
• Advanced flow development and experience with API integrations (ETL, marketing tools, ERP, analytics).
• Support for data architecture, including performance optimization and technical debt reduction.
• Deployment and CI/CD support.
• Security and scalability improvements.
• Experience translating technical requirements into independent development features.
• Comprehensive debugging and troubleshooting in Salesforce.

Details

• Role is remote and based in India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, and New Delhi).
• Occasional travel may be required for in-person team meetings, project meetings, or customer meetings.
