Overview

An entry-level apprenticeship in Morningstar's Data and Operations group, gaining practical experience with diverse investment datasets and structured training.

What you'll do

• Search, collect, and verify data of basic and intermediate levels of complexity.
• Attend to internal and client queries and requests to ensure captured data is aligned with data methodologies and policy guidelines.
• Quickly learn research methods and process standards to ensure productivity, quality, and timeliness.
• Collaborate with your team, cross-functional teams, and external parties (if required) to resolve data issues.

What you'll need

• Only candidates graduating in 2026 with a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or related non-engineering disciplines) are eligible to apply.
• Candidates pursuing or holding professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CMA, CS, ACCA, FRM, or any similar equivalent course are not eligible to apply.
• BE/B.Tech, Postgraduate, and Master's degree holders are not eligible to apply.
• Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, and comprehension).
• Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Learn quickly and process information with ease.
• Attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and natural curiosity.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and perform well under tight deadlines.

Details

• Work location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Preference given to candidates residing in Mumbai.
• Apprenticeship period: up to 12 months.
• Stipend: ₹22,000 per month.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts. Shift 1: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM; Shift 2: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM; Shift 3: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Shift 4: 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM.
• Working days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week).
• Hybrid work model: four days in-office each week in most locations.
