Apprentice

Overview

An apprentice role supporting signalling projects and associated engineering activities within a safety-critical railway environment, within the Signalling Engineering team.

What you'll do

• Assist with designs and engineering documentation for railway signalling projects.
• Support the delivery of safe, reliable and innovative solutions for railway signalling projects.
• Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Strong foundation in electronics, electrical engineering, communication systems, control systems and digital technologies.
• A proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Nice to have

• Academic exposure to hardware and software integration, embedded systems, sensors, communication networks, data acquisition and fault diagnostics.
