Architect - Cybersecurity

Overview

Define and guide cybersecurity concepts and architectures for connected vehicle systems, including Android Automotive and Linux-based infotainment, telematics, connectivity, and backend services. Translate cybersecurity risks, regulatory obligations, and product requirements into controls, engineering work products, and compliance evidence.

What you'll do

• Develop cybersecurity concepts, requirements, architectures, interface specifications, and verification criteria.
• Conduct and document Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment activities.
• Maintain ISO/SAE 21434 work products and risk-to-control traceability.
• Define security controls for infotainment, telematics, connected systems, and OTA updates.
• Support UNECE R155 CSMS and UNECE R156 SUMS compliance activities.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessment, remediation, verification, and monitoring.
• Present cybersecurity risks, compliance gaps, remediation plans, and technical decisions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in a listed technical discipline or related field.
• Professional experience in automotive cybersecurity, embedded security, product security, or security architecture.
• Hands-on ISO/SAE 21434 experience in an automotive product lifecycle.
• Practical TARA experience, including cybersecurity goals, requirements, and risk treatment.
• Knowledge of UNECE R155, UNECE R156, CSMS, SUMS, and Vehicle Type Approval activities.
• Understanding of embedded, connected-system, Android, Linux, cryptography, PKI, and secure communications.
• Working proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or recognized cybersecurity certification.
• Experience with ISO 24089, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, TISAX, or ISO/IEC 27001.
• Experience with automotive protocols, cloud security, DevSecOps, or hardware security.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Hybrid work environment; most office-based roles are onsite three days a week.
• Travel is required as needed.
