Assistant Vice President- T24 Treasury Business Analyst

Overview

Lead the strategic change of the T24 Core Banking System within MUFG's Global Operations & Services (GOS) Operations and IT Solutions team, as SME for Treasury products and related transformation projects.

What you'll do

• Develop and drive the strategic roadmap as SME of T24 for GOS Operations and IT Solutions, aligned with business objectives and technological advancements related to Treasury products such as FX, Money Market and Swaps.
• Lead the BA teams managing multiple projects including T24 to achieve smooth system migrations and changes, liaising closely with all relevant key stakeholders.
• Support the team in setting up the Centre of Excellence for T24 / Transformation in MGS.
• Lead initiatives to optimize and transform GOS, ensuring scalability, efficiency and alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and Technology teams to integrate new technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence and blockchain into operational processes.
• Ensure technology initiatives are aligned with operational needs and implemented effectively and securely.
• Oversee the adoption of digital tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
• Lead the planning and execution of operations transformation projects, focusing on end-to-end process improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and execute process reengineering projects that meet current and future business needs.
• Act as the primary liaison between operations, IT and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on transformation objectives.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to secure support for transformation initiatives.
• Ensure all transformation initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational changes and technology implementations.
• Oversee resource allocation for transformation projects, ensuring teams have the necessary skills and tools.
• Manage budgets and ensure transformation initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives.

What you'll need

• Graduate or Postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience as a BA in the banking industry.
• Good knowledge of Treasury products with T24 Core Banking Systems.
• Good domain expertise in Core banking for Asian/European or American markets in T24, with hands-on experience in migrating systems.
• Ability to develop and communicate a strategic vision for operational transformation, aligned with broader organizational goals.
• Expertise in leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including managing resistance and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, RPA and blockchain.
• Ability to work closely with Operations, IT and technology teams.
• Experience in managing large budgets.
• Strong ability to articulate complex transformation strategies and progress to senior leadership.
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape in banking, including local and global regulations affecting banking operations.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose operational challenges and develop innovative solutions.
