Overview

Associate cybersecurity engineer role focused on learning cybersecurity engineering practices and assisting with standard security engineering duties.

What you'll do

• Gain familiarity with cybersecurity engineering concepts, practices and methodologies.
• With guidance, assist with deployment of firewalls and intrusion detection.
• With guidance, assist with or perform security tool administration and updates.
• With guidance, assist with system modification and upgrade / enhancement.
• With guidance, assist with incident response, including investigation of incidents, breaches and threats.
• With guidance, assist with security product evaluation.
• Proactively learn about and keep up to date with security technologies, trends and best practices.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

What you'll need

• BA/BS degree and 0-2 years' relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
