Associate Application Engineer - Swing Shift

Overview

Associate Software Engineer entry-level role supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software applications under senior guidance.

What you'll do

• Write, test, and debug code for assigned software features.
• Support front-end and/or back-end component development per specifications and user stories.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve coding quality.
• Write and execute basic unit tests and assist with integration testing.
• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve assigned bugs and support issues.
• Follow coding standards, source control practices, and team documentation processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and complete assigned learning activities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of IT experience with exposure to software development (including internships/co-ops/academic projects).
• Introductory knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python examples).
• Academic or project-based exposure to web development concepts and frameworks (Angular/React/NodeJS/Spring examples).
• Basic understanding of version control (Git) and willingness to work in Agile teams.
• Foundational awareness of relational databases (SQL) and/or NoSQL concepts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and willingness to ask questions and accept feedback.
