Associate Client Server Software Analyst

Overview

Creates, codes, debugs, maintains and implements applications while supporting software solutions, application documentation, testing, validation and troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Assist with development of basic code for internal and external client software solutions.
• Assist with the routine design, creation and delivery of programming specifications for code development and support on a limited number of projects/issues.
• Gain a basic understanding of the application and/or area as it relates to assigned projects and how the functional area interacts/effects other functional areas.
• Gain coding proficiency by assisting others with correcting basic code deficiencies.
• Assist with basic application documentation, testing and validation.
• Create, code, debug, maintain and implement applications.
• Analyze existing applications or formulate logic for new applications.
• Devise logic procedures, perform coding and debug programs.
• Maintain and utilize application and programming documents in the development of code.
• Develop application implementation plans throughout the life cycle.
• Work closely with onsite end users to understand business needs.
• Write specifications, perform system and data analysis, implement and modify systems, and create detailed test plans.
• Provide testing, troubleshooting and support across systems.
• Become familiar with procedures, methodologies and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.

What you'll need

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Degree in a related field and/or the equivalent in training and experience.
• Typically No Relevant Experience Required.
• Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks.
• Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
• Has little or no role in the decision-making.
• Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requires instructions on all assignments.
• Works under close supervision.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Engineering.
• Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp.
• Experience in an analytical, research, or project management environment in the credit card or software industry.
• Programming experience with .Net development, including C# and C++.
• .Net - C/C++,SQL, Java.
• Lotus Notes - Lotus Notes Designer, Lotus Notes Scripting.
• Web Application Technology - Atlassian JIRA, Maven, Groovy Scripts, Javascripts, JQuery, Subversion, Collabnet, VisualSVN.
