Associate - Deals - Deal Analytics & Value Creation

Overview

Support data analysis work that helps clients assess deal opportunities, uncover value drivers, and translate data into insights that inform transaction and performance decisions within the Deals practice.

What you'll do

• Analyze operational and transaction data to identify patterns, value drivers, and performance opportunities
• Support diligence and value creation work by gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources
• Build dashboards and visual summaries using Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Power Query
• Apply Alteryx automation workflows to streamline recurring analytics tasks and improve consistency
• Perform research and fact finding to support client deliverables, presentations, and working sessions
• Translate findings into clear observations on risks, costs, scalability, and operational opportunities
• Use AI-enabled tools and analytic methods to enhance data review, comparison, and trend identification
• Monitor data integrity across files and reports to support accurate analysis and timely delivery
• Adapt to changing client needs and project scope while managing multiple assignments at once
• Learn professional standards, document work clearly, and escalate issues when patterns or gaps require attention

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
• At least one of the following: a certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
• Developing hands-on coursework or internship exposure in data analysis, analytics, or valuation
• Applying Power BI, Tableau, or Microsoft Power Query for dashboard creation and insights
• Gathering data from varied sources and analyzing patterns for transaction support
• Communicating findings clearly while adapting to fast-paced client engagements
