Overview
Associate Director of Software Engineering leading GenAI and Agentic AI software engineering across the end-to-end product lifecycle, including architecture, DevOps practices, and AI innovation.
What you'll do
- Lead development of enterprise AI products using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and intelligent automation.
- Define product requirements balancing UX, business value, security, scalability, and responsible AI.
- Engineer and ship agentic workflows (planning/reasoning, tool/function calling, reflection, memory patterns, guardrails) as hardened enterprise services.
- Drive cross-functional squads through SDLC from requirements through production deployment and continuous enhancement.
- Establish LLMOps/MLOps practices including versioning/registry, evaluation, safe rollout/rollback, monitoring, and improvement loops.
- Own observability and reliability outcomes across prompt→retrieval/tool calls→response, including dashboards, incident triage, and postmortems.
- Define data privacy/security by design, including access controls, encryption, secure secrets, and InfoSec collaboration for audits and risk management.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of progressive experience across software engineering, digital product delivery, technology leadership, or related technology domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying production-grade GenAI and Agentic AI solutions (agent architectures, RAG, orchestration, evaluation frameworks).
- Experience integrating AI agents, business workflows, enterprise systems, and human-in-the-loop processes into cohesive solutions.
- Cloud-native engineering foundation including containers, CI/CD, infra-automation, and reliability practices.
- Knowledge of AI risk, security, responsible AI, observability, monitoring, and operational controls for enterprise-scale AI.
- Strong SDLC process knowledge and Agile delivery environments (requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance).

- Based in Hyderabad Tech Center with a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
- Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.
