Associate Engineer

Overview

Associate Engineer responsible for design and engineering work supporting pump upgrades, parts orders and aftermarket units.

What you'll do

• Design pump upgrades, parts and aftermarket units.
• Review assignment inputs and complete work to customer expectations.
• Apply engineering standards and procedures to product designs.
• Check designs for specifications, fit, function, safety and manufacturability.
• Prepare drawings, analysis reports, documentation and parts lists.
• Update stakeholders on assignment status and deliver work on time.
• Perform self-checking and maintain document control and filing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant design experience in pumps or rotating equipment, or 5+ years in engineering design.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, documents and reports.
• Proficiency in GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards.
• Proficiency in 3D design using SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of pump design or related equipment.
• Knowledge of ASME, API and DIN design standards and material specifications.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in pump assembly, repair and servicing.
