Associate Engineer - ECM

Overview

Support Flex's engineering change management and new product introduction (NPI) activities in Pune, India, as an Associate Engineer - ECM.

What you'll do

• Create part numbers for BOM in Agile and Baan.
• Create AVL in Agile and Baan systems.
• Download customer documents such as product specifications and release them in CDC.
• Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
• Release part lists to production for new models and after implementation of ECOs.
• Study ECOs and drawings closely and coordinate with the site Process and Product Engineering teams.
• Work closely with Engineering and Materials teams to review product updates and modifications.
• Respond to Business Partner (requestor) and customer queries relating to Engineering Change Orders.
• Ensure adherence to targets set for all process metrics.

What you'll need

• Diploma or B.Sc (EEE/ECE) graduate.
• 0-2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of electronic components with schematic symbols.
• Knowledge of electronics processes/methods.
• Knowledge of electronics machines and types of electronic components.
• Analytical and logical reasoning and e-mail writing skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Good in people management and leadership skills.
• Coaching and mentoring skills.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience in the EMS industry preferred.
• Basic PowerPoint skills and knowledge of Excel VBA.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/design software and PCB basics.
• Basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
