Associate Engineer - Mechanical (LV Systems)

Overview

Associate Engineer responsible for developing and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings for copper busbar, sheet metal, low-voltage systems and enclosures across sustaining and NPI projects.

What you'll do

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for components, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Support design modifications for low-voltage systems and enclosures.
• Improve copper busbar and sheet metal designs for manufacturability and assembly.
• Support engineering analysis of panels and enclosures.
• Collaborate with senior and lead engineers on product compliance.
• Use PLM systems for design release and change management.
• Contribute to product industrialization, launch readiness and process automation.

What you'll need

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience creating engineering drawings.
• Strong experience with 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Knowledge of GD&T and PLM process implementation.
• Knowledge of copper properties and sheet metal manufacturability.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and create technical proposals.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLM tools such as Model Manager and SAP.
• Knowledge of IEC 61439 and other relevant standards.
• Knowledge of AI.
